Today on 03-June-2021, The Union Education Minister Sh Ramesh Pokhriyal announced that Government has decided to extend the validity period of Teachers Eligibility Test qualifying certificate from 7 years to LIFETIME. Now all the HTET, CTET, STET certificates will be valid lifetime.
This announcement will be effective from 2011. Earlier TET Certificate Validity is extended to 7 years from 5 years. Once it is cleared, the candidate needs to pass again the TET after 3-4 years. But now, it will be valid for lifetime. Candidate needs to pass only one time and does not need to apply again.
It will be very beneficial for the candidates who cleared in or after 2011, Because there certificates also be valid for lifetime.
Now, The State Governments will adopt these guidelines, After that all STET Certificates will be valid for lifetime issued after Feb 2011. State Governments will issue fresh Certificates with the lifetime Validity. It will also increase the Youngsters to make their future in the Teaching Field.
